CE News Declares TBE #7

12/03/2005

CE News, the leading business magazine serving the civil engineering market, has ranked TBE Group #7 in its 50 Best Civil Engineering Firms To Work For Contest for 2005. The ranking represents the fourth year in a row TBE has placed in the magazine’s top 20, and the first year TBE has placed in the top 10. In addition, for the first time, CE News ranked firms according to size. Of the 25 firms in the mid-size category, TBE ranks #4.

The 135 participating firms, the largest number of entrants to date, competed in a thorough evaluation and comparison of culture, benefits, performance/recognition practices, compensation, professional development programs, and recruiting and retention efforts. In addition to information supplied by the competing firms, the firms’ employees had the opportunity to complete an anonymous employee satisfaction survey. Virtually all responses from TBE associates ranked higher than the median response rankings of all competing firms.
