AUSTIN, TX – TBE Group, a full-service international consulting, design and engineering firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Anderson, PE, as Director and Business Unit Manager of TBE’s Texas operations. Based in Austin, Anderson will direct TBE’s Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), utility coordination and business development efforts throughout Texas. TBE has offices in Austin, Dallas, El Paso and San Antonio.

With more than 20 years of utility engineering and construction experience, Anderson rejoins TBE after serving as President of Anderson Infrastructure in Austin. Previously at TBE, he managed SUE and utility coordination services on TBE’s State Highway (SH) 130 project. SH 130, a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) comprehensive development agreement (CDA) project, is the largest highway project in Texas history. When complete, SH 130 will be a 90-mile toll road providing a congestion-relief alternative to I-35 between Austin and San Antonio.

Anderson has also worked as a Utility Project Manager for statewide construction projects at Granite Construction in Atlanta, Georgia, and as a Project Engineer/Manager for PCL Civil Constructors in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A professional engineer (PE), Anderson earned his BS degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
