New Contract in New Hampshire

2/27/06

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) recently awarded TBE a two-year on-call Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) contract. Since NHDOT has not used SUE on highway projects until now, TBE presented two SUE workshops to the NHDOT staff in December to familiarize them with the process.

TBE has already been awarded the first project under the contract, designating and locating in Salem for the reconstruction of I-93. NHDOT is expected to utilize TBE’s SUE services on five to ten projects a year. TBE will be opening an office in New Hampshire and use the office as a base of operations in New England
