TBE to Open Pennsylvania Office

01/06/2005

TBE has recently been awarded two Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) contracts – one for five years from District 4 in the northeastern part of the state and a five-year contract from District 1 in the Erie area (northwest). In addition, TBE is the Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) provider on four of the five consultant teams who will be working on the Mon/Fayette Expressway for District 11.

With this increased activity and exposure plus the opportunity to expand SUE services, TBE will be opening an office in the Pittsburgh area first quarter 2005.

The office, which will be located in the Pittsburgh area, will open first quarter 2005. Heading the office will be Project Manager Randy Seaver, newly transferred from TBE’s Clearwater, Florida, headquarters. Barbara Tortorelli, who moved from TBE’s Phoenix office, will be the office’s SUE Manager and will oversee the daily operations of the SUE field crews.
