Scott Stockburger, PE, Appointed Manager of
Engineering Operations

GARLAND, TXCardno TBE, a full-service civil/environmental engineering and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Stockburger, PE, as Manager of Engineering Operations, to the Garland, Texas, office. He will be responsible for providing technical expertise and management of civil and Subsurface Utility Engineering projects throughout Texas and in other states as needed.

Most recently, Mr. Stockburger served as Regional Utility Coordination Manager for a Texas-based engineering and land survey firm. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. Mr. Stockburger is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and has more than 20 years of experience with Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) design; Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE); and utility coordination and relocation.  Mr. Stockburger spent 18 years with TxDOT before joining the consultant community.

Some of his recent, notable project experience includes the IH-635 Interchange at US-75; IH-635 Interchange at Town East Blvd; SH-114 reconstruction; IH-35 DeSoto & Lancaster reconstruction; and participation on a number of design-build teams including the 635 Managed Lanes and Dart Rail Sections I1, I2, and R1.

Scott brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of subsurface utilities engineering, design, and coordination,” commented John Harter, Vice President, Cardno TBE. “His technical background coupled with his ability to work with the various parties involved in large and complex projects allows Cardno TBE to continue to expand its service reach to both public and private clients throughout Texas.”
