TBE Moves Up to #159 on ENR’s Top 500

TBE moves up 11 places in past year, 290 places over past eleven years, on ENR’s list of Top 500 Design Firms.
Rankings based on 2005 revenue; TBE’s revenue increased 15% in 2005.
List includes engineering, contractor, architectural, planning, environmental and geotechnical firms nationwide.

CLEARWATER, FL – TBE Group, a full-service international consulting, design and engineering firm, has been ranked #159 on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR’s) 2006 Top 500 Design Firms. TBE’s ranking represents a jump of 11 places over last year’s #170 ranking. Further, with the current 2006 ranking, TBE has moved up 290 places over the past eleven years. Rankings are based on revenue for design services performed in 2005. Companies on the list include engineering, contractor, architectural, planning, environmental and geotechnical firms.

ENR is a weekly publication targeted to members of the construction industry, including engineers, contractors, architects, owners, suppliers and local/state/federal government officials. The publication reports that with a strong economy, the firms on its Top 500 list had a very good 2005, with over half reporting double-digit revenue growth. Overall, total revenue for these firms increased 11.8% to $59.25 billion, from 2004’s revenue of $52.99 billion. TBE’s revenue increased 15% to $59.4 million, up from $51.7 million in 2004.
